Activity B3 (Enable knowledge exchange between projects)
Under Component B (Structured Learning) of IW:LEARN, this activity supports physical exchanges (study tours, short workshops) proposed by and for the benefit of GEF IW projects.
In January 2006, one such exchange was launched among 7 GEF IW projects in Vienna, Austria, to jointly develop this text:
Communicating for Results - A Communication Planning Guide for International Waters Projects
This "living" guide, developing via WaterWiki, provides water projects' communications officers guidance to effectively implement their transboundary communication strategies at various scales of governance. The Danube Regional Project served as host for the 2-day workshop.
