The following pages present water supply data at different scales (from global to regional) providing both total access and house connections data.

The «total access» takes into account all improved water supply sources be they privately or publicaly owned (see definition of "improved water supply").

The «house connections» only take into account piped water that is distributed in the house or just outside (yard) and can be considered as used privately.

Please note that the figures found in the different JMP reports may differ from those found in this website since data is regularly being updated with new evidence!
