Description
The general objective of the project is to decrease the volume of nutrients and other pollutants generated from agriculture and reaching the Danube River, by using environment friendly agricultural practices.
The project is conceived as a demonstrative activity which is supposed to take place in the commune of Izbiceni and then to be disseminated for duplication purposes in the following communes: Ianca, Grojdibodu, Orlea, Corabia, Gircov, Giuvarasti, situated on the Green Corridor of the Danube River.
Basically, the goal is to create a sustenable rural development model appropriate for the local resources specific for the communes and towns situated along the Green Corridor of the Danube River. By providing the communes with this model, the goal is to stimulate them to implement the agricultural environment measures.
