Description
The GEF intervention will assist Dominican Republic and Haiti to improve the joint management of the bi-national Artibonite watershed, through an ecosystem level approach that will, for the first time, address the upper, mid, and lower watershed as a single unit. The project, a bi-focal area (International Waters-Land Degradation) initiative, will integrate the TDA/SAP methodology with SLM and IWRM approaches.
