Description
The project involves the creation of a protected natural area in the area of the mouth of the River Cuareim that allows the preservation of natural resources, the enjoyment of the environment, and promotion of environmental education. A service of rangers will be implemented to stop processes of degradation, guided walks will be installed, bird lookouts constructed, and in the future, the establishment of a center for interpretation. The project will also restore the most degraded coastal areas located on the Uruguay River between the protected area and the city of Bella Union, through the creation of a linear park, reforesting with native species.
