Description
The aim of the programme is to promote the right of universal access to water and to improve the governance of the Water and Sanitation Sector by strengthening the competencies of Ecuador’s Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (MIDUVI), the entity in charge of the sector’s management, and of local governments and service providers in order to create the political-institutional, economic, legal and social conditions which can improve the quality and coverage of the services provided.
