Description
The project's overall goal is to help reduce the risk of diseases related to faeces by promoting access to safe drinking water and sanitation in the village Tialane.
Specific objectives:Clean up of the village Tialane and its surroundings; Easier access for people to drinking water.
Planned activities:Construction of latrines; Organization of cleaning operations of the village and surroundings; Organizing for day-to-day awareness on diseases related to faeces; Sinking of the well; Regular disinfection of the wells.
Expected Outcomes
The pollution of beaches and mangrove due to the lack of latrines is eradicated. The dispersion of garbage in the village and its surroundings is slowed. People are better informed about the risks associated with faeces. Tialane`s population has drinking water throughout the year.
Achievements: Results and Impact
Output indicators: 40 latrines are constructed; A monthly cleaning operation of the village and its surroundings is achieved; 02 forums are organized; 05 wells are constructed; A monthly disinfection operation is performed.
