Description
The overall project goal is to contribute to the fight against health hazards and diseases associated with faeces.
Specific objectives: Eliminating unhealthy impacts on the well-being at the village level of Ndangane Sambou and the surrounding area; Easier access for the people to drinking water
Planned activities: Construction of latrines; Organization of cleaning operations of the village and its surroundings; Raising for the day-to-day awareness on diseases related to faeces; Sinking of the well; Regular disinfection of the well.
Expected Outcomes
Pollution of the beach by toilets on stilts is eradicated; Insalubrity related to garbage is removed; People are better informed about the risks associated with faeces; The population of Ndangane Sambou has drinking water at any time of the year
Achievements: Results and Impact
Output indicators: 50 latrines are constructed; A monthly cleaning operation of the village and the surroundings achieved; 02 forums are organized; 04 wells are constructed; A monthly disinfection operation is performed.
