Description
The project responds to the regional and national water resources management priorities of GEF participating countries in Eastern Europe and the CIS outlined in their Strategic Action Programmes, national environmental action plans, national biodiversity action plans, national sustainable uses action plans, national human health action plans and/or national action plans under the Convention to Combat Desertification.
The objective of the project is to codify existing knowledge and experience through identifying, capturing, analyzing, displaying, and promoting replication of good practices related to small, medium and large scale GEF-financed, and internationally and nationally co-funded International Waters and Transboundary Water Governance-related projects in Eastern Europe and the CIS.
