Description

This project is supporting an existing Marine Protected Area which is established under a model "Locally Managed Marine Area" (LMMA) where community takes the lead in monitoring and maintaining the Protected Area. Activities include the piloting of method of monitoring by live-aboard rafts and also to establish sponge or coral farms as means of income generation for the community. trainings and planning activiteis are anticipated activties under the project.
