Description
The project invloves the assessment of mergers and ecotoxicological effects of POPs, which can ascertain levels and the effects on organisms exposed to these pollutants. This information will enable the health sector and state governments to take measures to prevent adverse health effects in human populations exposed or who normally uses these compounds. Thus establishing strategies on the use of these pesticides in agricultural areas, livestock and fisheries. The regulation and monitoring of these compounds will avoid heavy losses in the fisheries trade and economic importance of the regions studied.
