Background & Experience :	Dr Kadis is a member of the Mediterranean Islands Plant Specialist Group (under the Species Survival Commission). He has also been appointed by the Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment as an expert in the Scientific Committee for Nature Conservation in Cyprus and is the National Contact Point and the National Representative of Cyprus in the Programme Committee of the 6th Framework Programme of the European Union for Research and Technological Development, for the sub priority “Global Change and Ecosystems”.
Other Remarks :	Dr Kadis will be one of the lead contributors from FIT for the Management and Assessment of the Ecology of Cyprus’ Artificial Wetlands (MACAW) project in Cyprus
