Description
The project aims at achieving the following objectives in the two targeted governorates:
- Improve the accessibility and efficiency of water supply services through the construction of new water facilities and the utilization of the available water resources in both Rafah and the Northern Governorates.
- Utilize the water resources in the settlements and integrate it in to the municipal water networks that serve Rafah Governorate residents.
- Improve the overall public health conditions through developing and improving water facilities that would produce better quality water.
The project includes the construction and development of water infrastructure projects in two localities in the Gaza Strip: 1) Rehabilitation of damaged water system and improved the water supply system in Rafah through dividing the project into five major elements in Rafah which include construction of trunk line, booster pumps, water tank, water wells and water network; 2)
Rehabilitation of damaged water system and improved the water supply system in Beit Hanoun through implementing five major which include designing the water system, construction of water tank, trunk line, booster pumps and water network.
