Required video hosts

Your video must be available on one of the following Video-hosts (in bold is the service name used in inclusion):


Creating the video link

If your video is available through one of the above hosts, you need to create a link on the page you'd like to show the video by including: {{#ev:service|id}} -or-
{{#ev:service|id|width}}

Where:
  • service is the name of a video sharing service.
  • id is the id of the video to include
  • width (optional) is the width in pixels of the viewing area (height will be determined automatically)


For example

To include the displayed video (on the right-hand) about the Micro hydro plants in Kenya (Original Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5r9281c6Tg), the code would be: 

{{#ev:youtube|w5r9281c6Tg|300}}
you may add formating and additional info too, e.g.:

Adding the video tag

If you add a video to a page, you are encouraged to tag/categorise the page with the "video" category. You can either type "video" in the "category selection box" or search for the category in the tag cloud of popular categories.
