Adding category tags to a page

ALL pages should be assigned to Categories. This allows users to find related pages/articles within the same topic/category - a useful function of the wiki.

The templates all have preset Categories for their type (ie Publication, Project, Organization, Concept) and a Category to fill in for the relevant country. However, if you have created a new page from a blank page, you will have to categorise the article yourself. Simply select the relevant categories (country/region/page type/topic) catgories from the tag cloud at the bottom of the editing page before you save. Alternatively you can create new categories by typing in the "category selection box".

Either way creates links to the Category page(s) at the bottom, which list all pages within that Category. These are very useful pages, for searching the wealth of information on waterwiki. The more rigorous users are about catgorising their articles the better!!!
