Description
According to the National Water Master Plan, Botswana will have exhausted all its national water resources by 2020. However presently only .01% of the water is recycled.
The Tlokweng College of Education project aims at promoting water conservation through education and practical experience. It entails establishing water recycling/re-use systems and water quality monitoring programmes The project will use natral wetland system for cleaning the water. The project will be usaed to lobby for authorities to incorporate water conservation in development planning.
- Project Results
The objectives of the project were successfuly met as the following were completed on time
- wetland construction under phase one of the project which is already working
- Holding of five capacity building workshops for members of the Association and project coordinators.

Through undertaking this project it was learned that aproject of such magnitude needs technical support from people and/or organisations with expertise.
