Description
The objective of the project is to improved transparency, equity and effectiveness of water resources management by shifting from top down to a demand based water allocation by means of strengthening Water User Associations and reforming water management across all levels of the water management hierarchy. The overall goal of the IWRM project is to contribute to more secure livelihoods, increased environmental stability and reducing water related conflicts. Service area: 100’000 ha.
