Background & Experience	Prior to joining UNDP Uzbekistan, Anvar worked for International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA), Central Asia and Caucasus Regional Office. While at ICARDA, Anvar supervised socio-economic assessment of resources saving technologies in agricultural environment and worked on water management issues in the region. Anvar has received his Bachelor and Master degrees from Iowa State University and his expertise are in soil and water resources management. While in USA, Anvar gained experience in water quality issues in Iowa, pollution prevention services with Iowa Department of Natural Resources, and Environment and Energy Statistics with UNDESA in New York.
