- In the framework of the the Water Convention, and in particular the Protocol on Water and Health, UNDP has committed interest to join forces in several activities. Special focus would lie on joint "Pilot projects" to demonstrate and apply the convention's and protocol's provisions in selected countries.

In the framework of the Protocol on Water and Health, UNDP expressed interest to explore opportunities for cooperation and joint ("Pilot") projects together with UNECE, WHO and interested bilateral donors (e.g. SDC). WHO is particularly interested on the issue of "Water Security" (Roger Aertgerts, e-mail from 12 April 2006).
