The UN-Water Task Force on Country-level Coherence and Coordination was established in 2007 to explicitly address how UN-Water operates at the country level. This decision was in line with the recommendations made in the Secretary-General's High-level Panel on system-wide Coherence: "Delivering as One".

Background
Objectives and Activities
The Task Force focuses on country-level coherence and coordination with an emphasis on both water resources management and provision of water supply and sanitation services.
The Task Force is currently finalizing a comprehensive assessment of water-related activities in the eight pilot countries participating in the "Delivering as One" initiative: Albania, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Pakistan, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uruguay and Viet Nam.
